Master of Education in Literacy Education

Description:

The online Master of Education in Literacy Education at Ole Miss examines the roles and responsibilities of a reading specialist/literacy coach and prepares working teachers to assume greater responsibility as literacy leaders in their schools and districts. This accredited graduate degree is taught by full-time Ole Miss School of Education faculty.

Tuition:

Tuition is $443 per hour or $1329 per 3-hour course. In addition, students will assessed a $75 per credit hour technology fee for each online course and a $50 capital improvement fee per academic term for full-time students taking 9 graduate credit hours or more*. *The capital improvement fee is prorated if taking fewer credit hours.

Hours:

36 semester hours, includes 6 internship hours; the time it takes to complete the Master of Education in Literacy Education can vary, but students who follow the recommended schedule can complete the program in 20 months.
