Tuition: |
Tuition for the courses in this program are subject to the same registration and fee requirements pursuant to the Office of the Bursar. The tuition estimator is available at http://www.olemiss.edu/depts/bursar/estimator.html In addition, students will be assessed a $33.33 per credit hour (or $100 per 3 hour course) technology fee for each online course in this program. |

18 hours; the time it takes to complete the TESL certificate program can vary, but students who follow the recommended schedule can complete the program in a year. |
Requirements: |
Course Requirements: The graduate certificate in TESL requires 15 hours of graduate coursework and 3 hours of supervised teaching (Tesl 645). In addition to Tesl 645, the 15 hours of graduate coursework must include Tesl 542 and Ling 592 or LING 600 and 9 hours of electives chosen from the following: Tesl 552, 620, 631, 640, 647, 650, 689 and 695 and/or Ling 505, 540, 580 and 590. Other Academic Requirements: A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for courses counted toward the certificate. The time limit for completing the certificate program is four years. |
