Registration FAQ
Ole Miss Online Courses used to be split into different sections based upon regional campuses. What happened?
Ole Miss Online courses are no longer split into different sections based on our regional campuses (Web 1 Booneville, Web 1 Desoto, etc.) Effective March 15, 2013, there will no longer be separate online sections for the regional campuses in DeSoto, Tupelo, Grenada and Booneville. Rather, there will be just one Oxford based section that will be open to students from all of the different campuses. The courses are available to enrollments on a “first come, first served” approach to course registration.
What do I do if a section or course is full?
If an Ole Miss Online section or course is full, you may email the instructor for permission to be added to the course. If the instructor agrees to add you to the course, please forward the email granting permission to our office at online@olemiss.edu, and we will add you to the course.
I would like to enroll in a section that is labeled for a specific program. Is that possible?
Sections labeled for specific online programs are available for students admitted to that online graduate program only.
